We at Velez Family Health are striving to make your health care experience enjoyable and efficient. We are making several changes this year in order to continue to be able to satisfy our patient’s needs as the practice continues to grow.
We will no longer be performing blood draws outside of regularly scheduled office visits with the doctor. Uninsured patient’s can continue to have their blood drawn in the office and continue to receive the contracted fee with the lab. All other blood draws will only be done during regularly scheduled appointments if necessary and only if requirements for that specific lab are met such as fasting, or time specifications.
Appointments scheduled for the purpose of blood draw only after January 31st will be canceled. Please visit the nearest lab near you as contracted per your insurance. Please call the office with any questions or concerns. Lab orders are faxed directly to the lab when ordered. If you prefer to pick up a paper copy or have a copy of the order emailed or faxed to you please call the office or send a portal message.
